Freshly updated as of 6/27/16!

:bulletyellow: [ B A S I C S ]
    Name: Sojir ( soh-jurr )
    Kit Name: Whitefeet
    Nicknames: None
Age: ~80 moons (as of Winter)
    Gender: Female
Breed: Seal point & white snowshoe
Status: Single, not looking for a relationship

:bulletyellow: [ T R I B A L B A S I C S ]
    Tribe Tattoo: Gold - Shadow
    Profession: Deputy (formerly Guard)
    Abilities: Secondary (Names)

    Mentor: Kegan (Deceased), Cenek (Graduated)
    Apprentice: Blaire (Graduated), Thanatos (Graduated)

:bulletyellow: [ A P P E A R A N C E ]
    Height: 12"
    Weight: 8.8 lbs.

Build: As a kit, she was fatter than most. As she grew she lost that kit fat and became an average size. With short hair, it's easy to see her muscular build thanks to conditioning and a proud stance. She is average height and average weight, all around average. Due to her recent captivity under the Golden-Butterflies, her body is thin and flimsy. It doesn't seem like her legs could hold up her body.

Pelt: She has brown fur with darker brown knee-socks, (what's left of her) tail, fat heart-shaped face patch, and ears. She has off-white colored paws and off-white fur that starts under her brown face and goes down between her front legs. Her eyes are a steely gray, usually slitted because of her tendency to remain in the dark (or be annoyed, who knows for sure?). Her nose is a light chestnut color. Her pawpads are light gray.

    :new: Scars and disabilities:
[ Vertical Face and Neck Scars ] (Received by Kahotep) Trail up her muzzle, forehead, and all the way down the back of her head to the right side of her neck. Received during capture by the Golden-Butterflies. She mocked him for being short and he was like 'lol screw you bitch' and held her face down with one paw and did that beauty with the other.

[ Cheek scars ] (Received by Rey) Jeering at him for being lonely and will die alone and then proceeding to mention some past key family and friends of him in a snarky way, Rey, usually a calm cat, lashed out at her and gave those to her.

[ Ear holes ] She spontaneously got ear piercings one day, then quickly regretted them. She took out the earrings and the holes never closed.

[ Vertical belly scars ] (Received by a caiman) During the Caimen War Sojir was cornered by a caiman. She jumped away from an attack but he caught her stomach in the leap away.

[ Horizontal belly scars] (Received by Samael) Just being the daily torture, Samael came in and reopened her caimen belly wounds with some right over it.

[ Broken right foreleg ] (Received by Samael) Samael broke her arm the same day her opened her belly scars. Kahotep never healed her leg and left it broken.

[ Broken tail and missing fur ] (Received by Gabriel) As a daily beating. Burned her fur off.

[ Lung problems ] Because of the caiman scars and Samael's addition to them as well as Kooken's poisonous torture, she has trouble breathing sometimes. Often her breaths come out in rasps and choking-sounding chunks. It's pretty gross. It's hard for her to run and be active for long time lengths because of this.

[ Constant trembling ] She isn't sure what this can be credited to. Possibly a ptsd effect of her time with the Golden-butterflies, the onslaught of winter, the coming fragility of old age, or the loss of her best friend Tule. But as of late, her body shakes, sometimes violently and sometimes not so violently, and she can only hope that no cat points it out.

    Accessories:
[ Shell necklace ] (Received from Kena) Given to her before her best friend left Shadow-tribe and the tribe-lands, Kena passed it to Sojir as she cried. She never takes it off, as it means the world to her.

[ Star stone anklet ] (Crafted by xxx) When the star stone meteor crashed, Sojir went to receive her stone like all other cats. She was drawn to one in particular that seemed to buzz power and strength and took it for herself. She had it crafted into an accessory over her broken leg’s paw since the leg is unusable anyway. By having a star stone for energy, the stone charges er body to a temporary immunity to pain in her leg, so she can use it to fight.

[ Sapphire necklace ] (Received from Orinia) Not often worn because it's lost somewhere in the den, Sojir got this from mining with her friend Orinia before they left the old territories. It's a black string with a sapphire attached on the end.

[ Bone bracelet ] (Received from Astrarius) Right before her 'brother' died, Astrarius passed on to her the bone bracelet adorning his leg. He said it was a family relic. It's far too big for her leg so it trails on the ground when she walks, but she will never take it off.

:new: :bulletyellow: [ P E R S O N A L I T Y ]
[ Subdued and reticent ] xx

[ Loyal ] She has always been, and always will, be loyal to Shadow-tribe. Her tribe is her top priority and will do anything for it. However, it seems recently her loyalties might be changing to Cenek rather than the tribe, for it has split in two. Maybe she is more loyal to her friends than the tribe itself, but she will stick it out with her remaining friends until her last breath. Sojir feels strong ties to family and friends and her tribe, and she would never do anything to break ties-- as long as the decision is for the best.

    [ Vindictive ] xx

[ Stubborn and snooty ] Hot-headded and sassy has been in her genes since she was a Pink-Shadow. While she has matured, the trait still lingers and will toggle when prompted to speak. These traits have toned down quite a bit since her friends left Shadow-tribe, as she no longer has a fire in her belly that doles out these remarks. But when the fire is kindled again, she is quite smart-mouthed and really digs deep for repartee.

[ Distrustful and withdrawn ] xxx

    Profession: Deputy (formerly Guard)
    Skill Genre: Shadow
    Skill Ability: Secondary (Names)
    Skill Count: 13
    Soulbond Skill Count: 14

    Skills:
[ Seeing the Soul ] You can see the flow of energy through the body of other cats, what they refer to as their soul.

[ Meditation ] You start to get a strict control over your own emotions, now being able to blend them out completely at will.

[ Control Through The Name 1 ] Using your understanding of souls and names, you gain the ability to control small animals and insects by commanding them with their true names.

[ Mental projection ] Using a true name, you can project your emotions (positive or negative) onto a recipient.

[ Control Through the Name 2 ] You start to be able to control Medium sized animals using their true names.

[ Mental Agony ] Using a true name, the user can control the recipient’s mind to cause them pain depending on the user’s experience. This pain causes no physical damage, but could cause mental damage to both the user and recipient if not used responsibly.

[ Control Through the Name 3 ] You start being able to control large animals using their true names.

[ Lie to Me ] You can force anyone to tell you the truth to whatever question you have by commanding them with their true name.

[ Mockingbird ] Mimicking any voice or sound they have heard before, the user can alter their voice to match it.

[ Ghost Whisperer ] You can communicate with the spirits of the dead. However you can't control who you get to talk to.

[ Nightmares ] You can create nightmares. This will mostly only work when the cat is asleep, unconscious or very confused and can't tell apart reality and nightmare anymore.

[ In Your Head ] You become able to control the mood of another cat, and are capable of planting fear or sadness or whatever you desire in their mind as long as you stay concentrated upon them.

[ Summoning of Bones ] You can summon an un-dead creature to do your bidding.

    Signature Move:
[ Through You I Can Do ] Sojir combines In Your Head and Control Through the Name 3 to infiltrate the victim's head and confuse them before accessing their body and using a weak ability of their own to her advantage! (Ex: Controlling Cyntheale and being able to use Water Walking.)

    Skills (Soulbound):
[ Let Me Show You! ] The Primary user can use his abilities to make the secondary user see in the dark just as good as he/she can.

[ Seeing Beyond ] The Secondary partner lends the primary partner hsis ability to see souls, together with the ability to see in the dark, they can now find out through teamwork if a soul is dark or bright, good or evil.

[ We Are One ] You and your soulbond share a profound telepathic connection. Thoughts, emotions, and even things like pain can be and are shared between the two of you.

[ Know the Shadows ] The secondary user can give names to the shadows a primary user commands.

[ Summoner 1 ] Through the true name of the shadow formed creature, the two cats can make this appear when they call it together and make it fight for them! This only works with small shadow creatures.

[ Hiding Together ] The secondary user can hide with the primary user in the shadows.

[ Summoner 2 ] You can now control larger shadows by using their true names.

[ Teleportation ] Using common names of locations instead of shadows, both users can now teleport short distances.

[ Mimic Me ] You can now mimic your soulbond's voice flawlessly at a whim.

[ Share Your Pain ] Instead of causing mental agony, either user can now relieve their soulbond of some distress, whether it be worry, fear, or even physical pain by taking it on themselves.

[ We Are Your Drug ] The primary and secondary users can project vivid nightmares or day-mares onto a recipient using a true name regardless of their mental state or level of awareness.

[ Power Swap ] The secondary and primary user swap skill sets for one attack only.

[ Shadow Army ] The secondary and primary user swap skill sets for one attack only.

[ Ultimatum ] One user may sacrifice themselves to revive the other in case of death or fatal injury.

    [ Birth ]
She liked to say she was born to two Shadow-tribers, however, that is simply not the case. Sojir's heritage comes from an Orange-Earth and a Green-Earth. Back in the day of the first war, the parents had sought after a family of their own and, under threat of war, became Gray-Earths to secure their kittens' futures. The winter of the war time struck early that season and managed to take out Akeela, the fresh mother, barely supplying any milk to her newborns due to the lack of food and warmth. Roads, the father, with knowledge of the old territories, took his children to the nearest tribe (although he'd preferred Earth-tribe, it was simply too far from their hideout): Shadow-tribe. With Akeela dead and three kittens to protect, Roads abandoned the she-cat and dropped off his children at the foot of the camp before high-tailing it out of there. Cautiously taken into protection by the shadowy warriors, Whitefeet and her two brothers were laid to the belly of an aged queen who had a child of her own. As the winter grew stronger and more ferocious, the queen grew weaker and hungrier. Around the time that the queen passed, the kittens, only some adjusting to the new solid food, began dropping dead until only Whitefeet remained. The winter began to clear as Whitefeet aged, and when it came to her Ceremony, she was thrilled to be sent to Shadow-tribe as a Pink-Shadow.

    [ Pink ]
As her first mentor, newly named Sojir was appointed Kegan. Usually preoccupied with other things, the mentor and apprentice seldom left camp except maybe a few times. Because of this, Sojir found herself looking for other mentors, cluelessly unaware that different professions meant there were different skills involved. So she took to Astrarius and Orinia, who came to be her closest friends in Shadow-tribe. Both taught her to hunt and fight as well as mining, respectively, during the pre-season of the oncoming Second war. Sojir took a special liking to Astrarius because he was big and fluffy and nice and always with her-- not to mention he saved her from falling out of a tree. She met Sango and Damian too: Shadow-tribers her age. They got along well, but they were often out of camp.

[ The Second Great War ]
The rules of the War: Kill all enemies on sight. As a member of the Allience, Sojir stuck to Shadow-tribe under Killian, and so to Water-tribe under Aujir. Against the Rebellion, Sojir trained hard with Astrarius. He'd take her out and battle train her, prepping her for the bloodthirsty battle sure to come one of these days. When Sojir trained on her own, she, by chance, would come across strangers like Castail, Eva, and the pair Rey and Ziro. The latter two were met when Sojir was accompanied by Orange-Shadow Soul on a patrol in the neutral lands. It was quickly discovered that Rey and Ziro were Rebellioners, andaccording to their orders from the leader of the Rebellion, the Silver-Fire, a fight ensued. As a tiny Pink fighting against two Green-Earths, Sojir didn't fare too well. Ziro halted the fight after a kick to the throat from Rey nearly killed young Sojir, and then the four split to the tribes. Later on, Sojir again came across Rey, but this time with her mentor Kegan. Rey challenged the two of them again, this time with no tribe-mate to stop them. Rey focused Sojir mainly in the fight, bloodlust in his eyes. Kegan did everything he could to protect the Pink-Shadow, and in the end paid for it with his life. Satisfied with her dying mentor, Rey fled the scene as Kegan lay dead. As an assignment for the alliance, once Sojir was stationed with two Water-tribers, vain Vitani and Pink-Water Kristla to keep watch for enemies. It wasn't long after that that Sojir met Pink/Orange-Air Maika, whom she grew to detest with all her being. The two quarreled and spat at one another, even coming to a fight that was stopped by Sango's intrusion. During the skirmish Sojir uncovered that Sango was a spy for the rebellion and worked for them because of this stupid Air-triber. More training went on between her and Astrarius as Sojir went on mentorless, but when time for the Great Battle came, the Pink was ready. Honestly, she didn' do much fighting during the Battle due to her small size and weakness, but she did meet her Orange-Fire friend Eva and they hid together while fighting raged on. Killian, her Silver, died in this war, but Cenek remained a Yellow.

    [ Pink-Orange ]
During the cooldown of the Second war, Sojir decided to greet her Yellow-Shadow, Cenek. She confronted him about being mentorless for the longest time-- months after Kegan's death-- and requested a new mentor now that Orange tinted her tattoo. Cenek took her out on a patrol soon after, declaring that he was her new mentor, and the two fought for a while before Sojir was heartily beaten by the experienced warrior. Upon defeat, Sojir inquired what it was like to have a soulbound, and then if Cenek would ever want to soulbound with her in the future. As a young Pink/Orange, Sojir met her future best friend Kena. As confidents and close friends, the two did most everything together. Their personalities let them torture younger cats and prank older cats, and scare everyone in between. Sojir met D'ialia too, a solemn warrior who slightly intimidated Sojir even if she refused to admit it; and Kakoora, a rattled looking tom about the same age as she and Kena. They didn't get off to a good start either; Sojir saw the crush that Kakoora and Kena had on one another (often mocking Kena for it). Then, one day, she met Jensen, a wily Fire-triber out in the forest. The two bonded quickly over porcupine needles lodged in his muzzle. He invited her to swim, and, slightly flustered, Sojir accepted his offer. The two enjoys themselves and became friends quite smoothly. Jensen suggested that they meet again one day, and they did. However, on a patrol with Cenek and Kena, Jensen wandered by and startled the two Shadow-tribers. Sojir, thinking on her toes, shouted that they couldn't hurt him because she loved him. Shellshocked, Kena stared at Sojir, heartbroken. Sojir hadn't confessedto Kena that she had a 'boyfriend' of sorts, and the she-cat felt betrayed. Kena stormed out, unable to accept this treachery, and wouldn't speak to Sojir for weeks. Cenek left Jensen on trial. One evening alone Sojir ventured out into the forest to clear her head where she came across the newly named Yellow-Earth Rey, an old-time enemy. She hollered at him, furious for what he'd done in the past, demanding reconciliation. He apologized, asking her forgiveness that she couldn't give. He'd killed her mentor! How could that be forgiven so easily? Her furiosity led to a disaster; a beehive grew disturbed at her loudness, and bees swarmed out. Rey grabbed Sojir swiftly and dashed into the nearest lake. She thanked him curtly for his help (denying she even needed the help), and left abruptly.

    [ Orange ]
It wasn't long before Sojir grew pregnant with the Green-Fire Jensen's kits. Her belly began to grow round, and whens he told him, he was ecstatic. She was too, because now they were going to have a family together.

[ The Trek to the New Land ]
With the land hurting its inhabitants and collapsing under the slightest breeze, the tribe-cats, led by the spirits, harmoniously decided to make a move to a safer location. The land had begun to feast on the cats there and kill them with rocks or falling trees; it was time to run before more died. Sojir, heavily pregnant, traveled deep in Shadow-tribe to protect herself from strange cats. However, she did meet Tule a Green-Shadow during this trek on accident, only saying 'sorry' to him after bumping into him. Jensen padded with her along most of the way, checking to make sure she wasn't hurting too bad with her swollen paw pads and aching body. Kena did not once converse with the snowshoe, neither did the snowshoe with Kena. Sojir went slow, but she was one to help Cenek and the Silver Tylluan discover lands fit for cats of the shadow.

        [ Soulbonding ]
Upon the discovery of the new lands and after settling down, Sojir approached Cenek once more on the topic of becoming her soulbound. Surprised that she even remembered the inquerie from when she was a young Pink/Orange (now a fat Orange), Cenek asked if she truly thought this through. She nodded yes, and the two became soulbounds. The Yellow-Shadow and a simple Orange-Shadow; what a combo.

        [ Pregnancy ]
Sojir gave birth to two healthy she-kits a month or so after settling in the new Shadow-tribe territory. Named Arrow and Violet by Sojir and Jensen, who had moved to Shadow-tribe to be with the family, the kits suckled Sojir and grew up to be strong. When the two could walk, they'd always be entertained by their 'uncle' Astrarius and mother as well as Cenek occasionally. The sad thing was... not by auntie Kena.

Not until Kena herself fell pregnant to Kakoora. That's when Kena decided it wasn't worth to lose her best friend and sister-figure for life. So one day Kena sought out Sojir to tell her that she was expecting, and the two made up quick as a flash as if nothing had severed their friendship. When Kena gave birth to four healthy kits-- Ari, Cicada, Lyric, and Sier--, Sojir and Kakoora were the two in the birthing room with the queen. 'My, how delightful it felt to be an aunt.'

        [ The Caiman War ]
The caimans came about randomly. Slithering lizard creatures bent on killing the cats. Sojir heard by wind that her Orange-Fire friend Eva, that she hadn't spoke to in a long while, had been brutally attacked by one of them as well as others. The cats of nandryx were forewarned to watch themselves, and ordered to stay in groups of more than three at all times in case of attack. During the times of caution Sojir met Lydia, a pretty Orange-Earth, who bonded with her very quckly over a sick stomach. Sojir also became close friends with Kyer, a Green-Shadow. One day, to lighten the mood, Sojir, Kakoora, Kena, and the six kits all went out to gather moss (because of the drought) with Jensen. Kakoora killed the mood by being sassy to the Green-Fire and Sojir. Another attempt at a good day: Sojir, her kits, Kena, and Jensen went to explore the forest. They were having a wonderful time until Jensen tried to show a fiery trick to the kids and accidentally caught a couple trees on fire, encircling the group in a ring of fire. Thankfully, Astrarius and Cenek came to the rescue at the smell of smoke and safely got everyone out. The fire died out to rain that night, sent by the spirits. Days later... tradgity struck. In camp, Sojir played hide and seek with her kits and Astrarius when Violet fled camp to find a better hiding spot despite the rule of not leaving camp alone. Violet wandered far, and when Sojir and Astrarius found her, a caiman was in their wake. Sojir ordered Violet home for help while the two older cats distracted the giant lizard; in the fight, Astrarius ended up dying, giving her hi bone-bracelet, and Sojir cracked ribs. Cenek came running back, pulling Sojir off of Astrarius's limp body being used as a ploy, and returned to camp to mourn the death of her best friend. Sojir fell into mourning for many weeks even going so far as to try and resurrect Astrarius with an ability to speak to him (which failed, as she resurrected Sango. Maika came across her the instant she did, and spoke to Sango out of the kindness of Sojir's black heart), until one day a somewhat stranger, Tule, was ordered to patrol with her. The two went out, Sojir too solemn to do much lately, and was again confronted by a caiman. Afraid to fight another in case she lost this Green-Shadow, the two decided to escape it. Sojir earned the nickname 'Slug' from Tule by how she climbed over him in a mud pit. She laughed at the event back in camp-- they escaped with their lives and defeated the mighty caiman! How silly. It was the first time she'd laghed in weeks. Peace went on for some time before the leaders and Yellows went to talk with Ec, the lead caiman. They talked for some time, but it ended up badly. Many of the Silvers lost either their lives or their deputies; Cenek returned alone. A Silver tattoo graced his maw very soon, and the tribe mourned the loss of Tylluan. That's when it hit the tribe: they needed a new Yellow. And guess who Cenek chose?

    [ Yellow ]
Sojir hadn't expected to become the next Yellow-Shadow. Right in the middle of a war too. Whe Cenek had returned from the caiman meeting, she'd been sleeping in her nest with Kena. That next morning, Kena had been the one to exclaim that Sojir's tattoo was now Yellow.

        [ The Caiman War ]
cont. Taking up her new responsibilites as Yellow, Sojir was put under a lot of stress. The caimen, bitter by the raid from the Silvers and Yellows, again warned the cats. But this time, they said leave the lands or every cat would be murdered. The cats started the preparation age-- smiths from Fire-tribe build armor for the Light-tribe healers, cats hard practiced their skills and abilities and alliances were formed from tribe to tribe. The preparation age was disturbed by little Akarui, an Orange-Fire wandering into Shadow-tribe to kill one of the cats. Shadow-tribe captured her and held her prisoner, the first one in seasons. Tensions between the two tribes ran high as the current Silver-Fire Castail and Cenek debated Akarui's fate. Castail agreed that Akarui must serve Shadow-tribe for the time being to make up for her malicious intentions, and it was settled. Akarui wouldn't have any of this shit, and ran off. Vokor, a sadistic Green-Shadow, killed her in self defense at her attempt to flee. A Shadow-tribe patrol deposited her in Fire-tribe territory, but left it at that to focus again on caiman matters. On a boring day, Sojir took her friend Csilla and Tule out on patrol. The two came across two Earth-tribers, Taren and Sylvani, who were suspiciously close to the Shadow-tribe border. Taren and Sojir, both hot-headded cats, spat insults at each other until a fight broke out. The commotion drew in Orion, Cyrus, and John from other tribes to see what was the matter. Sojir pinned down Taren at the end of the fight, but, having flashbacks to when she was a Pink (much like Sylvani) and seeing another cat kill her mentor, Sojir let the Earth-tribers off with a warning to stay away from Shadow-tribe. Not long after, the Caiman Battle began: Caiman vs. Cat. Sojir lost ribs and Cenek lost a life; cats lost their lives; parents lost their children; everyone lost someone.

        [ The Spirits' Curse ]
As the war drew to a close, the cats were clearly the victors. The caimen retreated into the Nightwatch forest where the cats would never find them behind a wall the Earth-tribers barricaded them off with. However would a wall hold tons of caimen? The spirits, as an extra precaution, cursed Light-tribers with a new ability: poison. Basil the Silver-Light and her tribe of healers and poisoners traveled to the wall where they poisoned it. If any cat or caiman touched the wall, they'd be poisoned themselves.

Sojir took solace in Light-tribe for the time being. Her ribs, once broken in the conflict with Astrarius, were in worse condition due to the Battle. Light-tribers tried fixing her up but she refused treatment, saying that others needed it firstly to her. Rooming in Light-tribe for a day or so, Sojir took the off-time to account for her Shadow-tribers still alive. Most were, but she took special care to seek out Kena, Cenek, Kakoora, and Jensen. Each was accounted for. Sojir went to speak to Kakoora pointedly, saying she was glad that he was alive and he, her. Their friendship began to blossom from there. Lastly, she found Jensen and walked him home to show Melibourne (her daughter, sent to Fire-tribe) that her parents were alive and well. To both their shock, Melibourne was nowhere to be found. She'd gone. Outraged, Sojir verbally assaulted Jensen, screaming that he should've stayed home and watched her, made sure she was okay. Sojir stormed home, tears soaking her fur and a depressed Jensen in her history. During this time Sojir often went in search for Melibourne after showing Karsynn (Arrow, sent to Water-tribe) that she was alive and confirming that her father was too. Traces of her lost daughter were no where to be found. Sojir even went so far as to venture to Fire-tribe to seek assistance from any Fire-triber that wasn't Jensen; once, Palette stumbled by. The two searched for Melibourne together for a day in Fire-tribe territory, but to no avail. Two weeks passed before Jensen found Melibourne stuck in a badger hole. Her parents freed the Pink/Orange-Fire and walked her home to discover that Melibourne had fled because of her fear that her parents wouldn't return from the Caiman war, much like Astrarius hadn't. Promising her daughter that the caimen would never intrude on the cats again, Melibourne went home with her father happy.

        [ Kena and Kakoora's Goodbyes ]
The next gathering, tons of kittens were apprenticed. There, Sojir met newly named Blaire, a Pink-Shadow, and Emlyn, a Blue-Shadow. The snowshoe decided that she was ready for an apprentice, and practically told Blaire that the she-kit would be just that. In this gathering, Kena's kittens were ready to send off to their own tribes. At the end of the gathering, the tribes went home with their new Pinks and Blues, and Sojir went right to sleep. During the middle of the night, Kena stirred. Sojir followed her best friend, wondering what the Orange could be doing awake at this time of night. When asked, Kena admitted to leaving Shadow-tribe. Frozen in unaccepted confusion, Sojir began to ask if she were joking, which Kena denied. She was truly leaving. The Yellow-Shdow broke down crying, begging at Kena's paws no to leave; she couldn't. She was Sojir's best friend, she wasn't allowed to leave. Kena left before Sojir convinced her otherwise, saying it was for the best and that she'd be back one day. The seashell necklace the gray she-cat had always worn was left at Sojir's paws, and she put it on to show off that she'd never forget Kena. The Yellow-Shadow didn't leave the spot Kena had walked away from for hours. When the sun began to rise, it was apparent that Kena had been serious, and would not turn back. She trudged home sobbing, not ready to tell Kakoora that his mate had left the tribes. In fact, she'd been thinking about avoiding him for some time, but of course he caught her and asked what was itching her. Sojir sighed and told him the news. Feeling betrayed and horrible, Kakoora decided that he would leave as well. Sojir broke. Crying and sobbing into him she begged him not to leave her too, not so soon after Kena and Astrarius and her daughter. He had to stay! But he left regardless, and left Sojir in a deep depression. After that, all she wanted was to go to sleep. But she didn't want to sleep alone. She went to Tule, her somewhat friend, and asked if he'd share her nest in her times of trouble. He accepted, and they have been nest mates ever since-- he'd listen to her cry and vent and he'd comfort her as if they were siblings.

One day Sojir and Tule, Blaire and Emlyn's mentors, took out the two young cats on their first training experience. Their first test: to master finding the name of a slug. His name, they discovered, was Tzzst! Not long after, Emlyn fell ill. To clear his mind while Tule was out patrolling, Sojir took out the Blue to see the beauty of the forest. It was all going dandy until they came across Maika, the Orange-Air Sojir detested so. It was then that the two revealed their kinship; Sojir had always known something was up with Emlyn. On the brink of a fight between the two she-cats, a hungry fox appeared, eyeing Emlyn. It attacked its meal, but the two she-cats worked together to try and fight it off. Sojir was knocked out quickly by the powerful creature. When she woke, she found Maika's body and Emlyn was nowhere to be found. Home, Sojir told Maika's fate to Kyer, whom she knew to be one of her good friends. Blind Kyer was heartbroken, and yelled at Sojir furiously. She pardoned him, knowing the pain of grief. Another day Sojir visited Lydia, her Earth-tribe friend, who shared the news that the Silver-Earth who she identified as 'Rey' (and Rey's son) was dead. Sojir moured with her, unsure if she'd truly hated or truly liked the Silver-Earth. Some time after, D'ialia, Cenek's mate, fell pregnant and gave birth to five kits.

[ The Raid for Primus ]
The night of the kit's naming gathering, Shadow-tribe conducted a raid on Fire-tribe because a rogue had said the whereabouts of Primus-- Cenek's son who'd been stolen-- were rumored to be in Fire-tribe. Sojir's patrol attacked Fire-tribe's only half filled camp, searching for the missing tom. During the raid, the Yellow-Fire Kintsu was confronted by Sojir, demanding to know where the kit was. Kintsu prepared to fight her, saying he had no idea. Not taking no for an answer, Sojir attacked Kintsu-- however, it was a terrible mistake. Kintsu beat her out and nearly suffocated her in his poisonous gases had it not been for Tule's interjection. He knocked Kintsu away and dragged Sojir to safety before calling off the raid, declaring Primus's absence. The patrol returned home empty-pawed. When Cenek led the gathering cats home, he sought her out and said that Primus had been at the gathering, and he'd been named to Shadow-tribe.

Sojir continued to train Pink-Shadow Blaire by helping her learn her new abilities to control animals nd other cats. On a day off of training, they went to the beach and swam to Shatterbone cliffs. On their swim there, a shark appeared and threatened the two fo them. Narrowly fighting it off with their controlling powers, Sojir and Blaire barely escaped with their lives. Tule, noticing Sojir's long-lasting depression, one day decided to cheer her up. He arranged a game unbknowst to Sojir by daring her to do something silly. She dared him back and he dared her back, and a game erupted. The triple dog dare game lasted for a day, the last dare being to catch one of the new elemental animals and deposit it in Fire-tribe's volcano first. Sojir ended up winning, although in the back of her mind she refuses to admit that Tule let her win.

        [ The Golden Butterflies ]
It a gathering unlike any other. At first, everything was normal. Kits were being named, there was common chatting and everyone and their mother was there. But then someting strange happened. Six cats appeared out of nowhere, none owning up to a tribe tattoo, and began stole away six kits, one in each mouth of the rogues. They called themselves the Golden-Butterflies, and requested volunteers to their cause to rehabilitate the tribe-cats. Everyone froze, watching apprehensively as they spoke and claws or bit into the kits. Each rogue demanded compensation so they wouldn't get injured on their quest to help the tribe-cats. Sojir grimaced, what bullshit. Harming innocent cats to cleanse them of their misdeeds. However, the tribe-cats complied. An Orange-Shadow was the first to speak up, volunteering herself. Sojir followed suit, knowing that if she didn't then some other cat that mattered would. Four more followed: the Yellow-Fire Kintsu, the Silver-Water, the Yellow-Light, and the Silver-Earth. The six padded to the rogues, who each released the captive kit and instead took the six Volunteers. They'd be back, they said.

            [ In Captivity ]
It was horrible. At first, the Volunteers had been taken to a place undiscovered. Each were thrown into a cave by the Golden-Butterflies on their own. Sojir's cave was cold, dank, and musky. It was dark and gray, and no sunlight peeked in anywhere. She'd roam the cave until her paws ached, press against the boulder blocking the exit and wonder how long it'd be till she could eat, and how the other Volunteers were. Food didn't come til the next night. She had to drink stale water dripping from the ceiling. The Golden-Butterflies didn't visit, and when they did it was to 'check up on her.' Then it began to get worse. When the Butterflies came, they came with malicious intent. Claws scarred Sojir's flanks and face and blood waterfalled off her body. She was blinded by blood and scars and on fire with pain searing through her body. At the end of each session, the gremlin would come and heal her, but only just enough to let it sting and let the memory of the pain linger. Sojir wasn't sure how long she was there. Weeks, maybe a couple of moons. Only once was she released from the cave to eat with the rest of the Volunteers. And even then, no words were shared. But no words needed to be shared; you could see the death and cry for help in their eyes and their wet scars. They were taken back to their caves and force dinto the same old story... torture... hunger... deprivation... until they were finally released.

[ The Return of Alriyel ]
Sojir limped to Light-tribe with the rets of the Volunteers the day of their release. Few words were spoken between the six, but each knew a bond had been established deep down there. They were survivors of the torture chambers and would have this bond for the rest of their lives. Upon reaching Light-tribe, Sojir and co. tuckered down to sleep a good night's sleep for the first time in moon, feast on good prey, and drink clean water. The morning after the Light-tribers immediately rushed to them, tending to their wounds and cleaning them up, but Sojir refused to accept their help and hobbled home to Shadow-tribe.

            [ The Break Up ]
On the way home Sojir came across Jensen. He was relieved to see her after hearing of her release. Sojir greeted him quietly, her voice close to dead with the rest of her body. He caught her prey and they wrapped each other with the bodies close, purring and thrilled that each was still alive. They talked quietly and laughed until Jensen had to tell Sojir what had been going on. Alriyel had returned, he said. Alriyel? Like the omnipotent god? The cause of the First great war? Sojir couldn't believe it. How could he be back? The spirits wouldn't have allowed that. And then Jensen told her the truly awful news: Cenek had joined forces with Alriyel, along with Air-tribe. Sojir felt bile rising up in her throat. There was no way... she asked him how he felt about all this, and then he dropped the bomb. Jensen had left Shadow-tribe to try and rescue her a long time ago and had no opinion. The two fought over Jensen's 'selfishness' for leaving, and ended up with Sojir howling that they shouldn't be together anymore. Their relationship was over, and she hobbled to Shadow-tribe as best she could, leaving him in her dust.

She entered Shadow-tribe's camp and saw Cenek first. She cried into him with no other eyes on them, absolutely collapsing. She greeted her remaining friends in Shadow-tribe, half the tribe having left to get away from Alriyel's claws on Shadow-tribe. Air-tribers were in the camp, along with the demon cat-- somewhere.

        [ Do We Belong? ]
Since returning Sojir fell ill for weeks on end, unable to accomplish much other than drag herself to get food and sleep some more. Her friend Tule uses his powers throughout the night to calm her nightmares, infusing her with his powers to keep her stable. He hasn't left her side much, not even on the Gatherings that Alriyel was destroyed along with the spirits. They vanished in a flash of light, and everyone's tattoos disappeared in a heartbeat. Alriyel was gone, his prowess over the tribe-cats no longer a threat, but so were the six spirits that had watched over and protected the cats for seasons. Replacing the spirits were mysterious orbs over the six camps, a sign that something was going on in the angry skies despite the absence of the cats' faith. Many grew doubtful of this time, unsure of what else to do, and formed riot groups and neutral alliances to combat their growing distress. Sojir, naked without her tattoo, felt like the lands were exiling them once again. But, during this time she met a 'Green-Water' Kato, whom took off on the wrong paw at first. He was cocky and arrogant, and she was grumpy and distristful and stuck in a bush. He helped her out and they grew to be friends, meeting again when they discovered a fox pup in a snowstorm and had to return it to its mother. However, the mother attacked them, believing they'd stolen her pup, and Kato had to protect her (though she'd never admit it). During the 'naked time' Sojir also arranged a patrol full of mainly new cats she'd only conversed with a pawful of times. Her new goal was to get to know her tribe-mates better since she'd been gone for so long, and more were flocking with each day. She gathered Tule, Astrid, Blaire, Akiko, Idris, Kyer, and Yin to the forest to, despite their lack of tribal unity, perfect their guard skills.
    [ Gold ]
The tattooless time didn't last long, thank the heavens. One day the orbs floating precariously over the tribe camps shattered into columns of light stretching into the sky with a force that seemed to draw every cat near. Then, to all the tribe-cats, a voice told them to navigate to the breathing caldera. Sojir went along with every cat to the breathing caldera, where the six spirits took form in front of their eyes. Announcing themselves as different spirits than the ones before the orbs, they introduced themselves in turn as different tribe spirits and those who would take the place of the old ones because the old ones were dead. In turn over the next few days, the tribe-cats had the chance to reclaim their tattoos, fresh with new designs and new colors fitting to new standards. When it came time for Shadow-tribe warriors to claim their heritage, Sojir was among the first to be blessed with the new Gold-Shadow tattoo. Looking in a puddle, the snowshoe was relieved (and partially confused) to see that her tattoo remained unaltered whilst every other cats' seemed to change either color or design, if not both. After the new tattoos were received by the tribe-cats, the era of peace began. Life went on as usual and Sojir met some new cats. She met Thea, a tribe-mate who tried to help Sojir come up with creative ways to utilize seaweed. Thinking it could be used as a net, they tried to weave the slimy strands of grass, but to no avail as it winded up tangled in Thea’s thick coat and resulted in Sojir having to dig her out of it. Cenek lost a life a few days later; Sojir felt it in the night. She didn’t ask him about it, but the next morning he requested that they train together more because he felt like he was slacking. She agreed, and he mentioned to her that an Earth-triber took it.

        [ Creation of Void - Tribe ]
'Come to the breathing caldera.' Tattoo colors changed according to ability rather than gender. Tattoos were wiped and redesigned. She and Cenek both reclaimed their Shadow-tribe tattoos when the time came.

        [ The Star Stone ]
Sojir went to the mysterious space rock and received her star stone, a red triangle that emitted the ability of energy. She had it crafted into an anklet that connected to a band further up her fore leg. As her leg is broken, she can never put it on the ground anyway, so the star stone rests on her paw pad. She tested her nnew star stone with Jet in a mock fight. Though she stated no claws in the battle, the first use of the star stone's energy overwhelmed Sojir and drove her body to involuntarily unsheath her claws and lust for blood. The pair discovered that, when activated, the star stone fuels Sojir with mass amouns of stored power, which is greatly suited to her liking. Her broken leg is almost immune to pain during this time and functions like a normal leg. When the star stone's powers fade, she is often in bad shape and can feel burning sensations in her leg from unwarranted use. As such, she refrains from using it unless she desperately needs it to defend.

Cenek did not allow Sojir to participate in the Void-spirit's quest, though she was eager to leave camp in hopes she could do some deep thinking. She stayed behind and hoped for the best for her tribe-mates who went. Sometime during this, Sojir's Air-tribe cousin Zenobia, her mate Kakoora, and their six children Cyclone, Drizzle, Orca, Tsunami, Tundra, and Typhoon departed the tribes. Kakoora asked Sojir to come with them, as they loved her. She rejected their offer, stating that she loved Shadow-tribe and needed to be there for it. Though her heart longed to convince them enough to stay in the tribes, their minds were set on going. She had flashbacks to the first time that Kakoora left, right after Kena had. To Sojir's surprise, she was not heartbroken as she had been last time. A pit in her stomach formed, but no tears were shed. It was almost as if she'd become accustomed to the feeling of loss. As if losing her relatives wasn't hell enough for her, her best friend Tule also left Shadow-tribe one day. This, though she won't admit it, destroyed her. He had been her closest friend since Kena had gone, and now she was left with no cat but Cenek in all of Nandryx. Sojir developed mournful depression, and her body took it especially hard. She is always cold. Her body is fragile. Her limp has worsened. Her body shakes and her head is never held quite as proudly as before. Her words are scare, and the glint from her mischevious eyes is gone.

[ Walk Among the Living ]
The spirits came down from eden as part of a meteor shower to visit the current living cats. Sojir only re-acquainted herself with Rey, the once asshole-y Silver-Earth, though she dreamed one night that she met rotten amethyst-eyes Maika again.

[ The Sickness Felt 'Round Nandryx ]
Cats mysteriously fell ill. Sojir was not one of the affected. The epidemis went away as mysteriously as it came after weeks of paranoia.

        [ Desperate Times ]
Light-tribe raid on Shadow-tribe prey during a food shortage. Plot to poison some food in case Light-tribe comes back in hopes that it'll teach them a lesson. Borders were closed, and a rift between Shadow-tribe and Light-tribe was formed. Fire-tribe decided to expand their borders.
